Hi, I'm Kate, I'm 30 and single and just got my second cat. It was pretty promising when I was 22 with a double degree in business and spanish from a liberal arts college back east, but four years ago I decided to quit my amazing day job with benefits, and mandatory breaks, and cheezy awards on my desk and move to la to be an actress and waitress. I've had some success with national commercials and the very funny series true perfection and am looking forward to sharing the glory of a single girl with all of you. Even as i write this i haven't brushed my teeth today, but if i was tied down with some la guy I would probably be teeth brushed already, make up on and about 20lbs lighter. xoxo

Sassy Mohen (Single Girl) is a fresh indie filmmaker who thrives on powerful character-driven stories. While most of her career has taken place behind the scenes, her on-camera work began at the age of 3 with some epic L.L. Bean modeling shots. While both her mother and herself quickly became tired of the Hollywood demands placed on a four year old, (mom realized the B.S., Sassy wanted to sleep,) she made numerous appearances on a multitude of FOX & CNN shows as “that cute blonde kid,” through her adolescence.
Deciding at age 12 to go into directing, she usually found herself one of the only girls in the many film & video production classes she attended before and through college, making her the go-to actress, an experience she found invaluable for working with actors in future projects.
While attending Dodge College of Media & Film at Chapman University, she wrote & directed her first feature, “Happy Holidays,” a venture which she completely funded and distributed online in a world prior to Kickstarter and instant streaming. Understanding that the internet was the way to go, she continued to make numerous other pieces of web content & web series including the award winning “About Abby,” as well as “True Perfection.”
Currently, she is thrilled to spearhead "A Single Girls Show," in the hopes that she can bring back the mini-backpack and let socially awkward girls everywhere know they can still be sexy if they eat that last piece of cake.

Jeb Phillips was born in the small town of Galion, OH; nearby Columbus, Oh. Growing up he was very active in sports. After high school he went on to pursue a Business degree on a golf scholarship at Tiffin University in Tiffin, OH. His first introduction to acting (other than running around on a fake wooden horse yelling "The redcoats are coming the redcoats are coming!", in Elementary school) was when he auditioned for the play Fame , his Jr. year at Tiffin University. He landed one of the lead roles, as Montgomery MacNeil. After the play he went on to do numerous Student and Independent Films.Jeb moved to Los Angeles in 2007, and has recently landed a national Chevy commercial, a co-star role on both The Office and Vegas; along with a day-player spot on a movie of an 80s remake, "About Last Night", that is scheduled to be released in 2014. Jeb is scheduled to begin shooting another feature film, as a supporting role, in the film "The Act of Contrition" this summer in Cincinnati, OH where he will play Maxwell O'Conner.
Born in San Francisco (Go Giants!), Lenne Klingaman is a true California girl. Her two bohemian (at the time) parents threw her a first birthday party where the only presents to be given were poems. The poems were kept in a Paddington Bear scrapbook she still calls her own. Whisked away to Minneapolis, Minnesota (Go Vikes!) in her teens, she struggled with snow but found solace in a Shakespeare play in her freshman year English class. She received her MFA in Acting from the University of Washington and drove straight down to LA and has been there ever since. (Go Dodgers! – conflict of interest, I know.)
She’s been on TV as a guest star on CBS’ “Cold Case.” Film credits include “LOVE: As You Like It” (currently in festivals nationwide), “The Exchange,” “A Night in the Sunlight” and the recent web series “Welcome to Sanditon.” She has acted in theaters across the country, performing everything from Shakespeare’s ingénues to her most current project Flight in which she builds a plane onstage, climbs ropes, and swings from a trapeze all while telling the story of the first women to fly aeroplanes. Her dreams recently came true when she played Juliet in Romeo & Juliet at the Denver Center Theater Company. She is excited to team back up with Sassy Mohen after their last adventure in "True Perfection." She feels extremely fortunate and thankful to be living her life doing the thing she truly loves.
She also develops crushes on major league baseball players quite easily; past lineups include Darren Lewis and Royce Clayton. Currently Tim Lincecum is her starting pitcher. Also, she can’t live without music. Any and all kinds. And art. And burritos.

"Single Girls" is Katharine's third film making experience with Sassy Mohen. Beginning in 2007, Katharine was cast as Veronica Ryder in "Happy Holidays". She went on to play Marlene Jenkins in "True Perfection". She once wrote Sassy, "Honestly, I would be a happy person if I only worked with you for the rest of my life - that's how positive I feel about you."
Katharine trained at the Yale School of Drama and the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. She worked primarily in theatre in New York and Los Angeles. Then she took on her main role in life as a single mother to two girls. Still the dream to act lingered! When her daughters became teenagers, she resumed study with Harry Mastrogeorge and became inspired to work again as an actress. But it was a different world! Because of the Internet, Katharine was able to quickly generate work for herself independently - something she could not have done before. She sent her photo and brief resume out on everything possible. Soon she was going on audition after audition, getting jobs and shooting films with students and independent producers non-stop. Although she was no longer the Ingenue, she found incredible roles that she could submit and audition for as a now older woman. There were mothers, single mothers, wives, ex-wives, business women, murderers, cougars, drunks, and women with all kinds of stories! To date she has done over forty independent films.
